What we look for
For our part, we seek individuals who answer "yes" to many of these questions:
- Do you love working with children? Are you an educator? Coach? O/T? P/T? Parent? Teacher? Clown?!
- Do you have experience selling and/or marketing?
- Do others consider you friendly and outgoing? Are you good with customers?
- Are you involved in your community – through PTO, youth sports leagues, a civic and/or religious institution, etc? Do you feel you're in a position to network with families in the community?
- Are you the kind of person who parents turn to for advice about kids?
- Do you have past business and management experience? Do you have strong organizational and operational skills?
- Are you a leader?
- Do you have the resources to make the investment to get the business up and running? Financially, we seek candidates with a net worth of at least $300,000 (or access to partners/investors who will contribute to the start up cost), and liquid assets of at least $75,000 available.
- Are you prepared to make this your full-time commitment (whether on site supervising the daily activities of a single facility, or overseeing each of several facilities)?
- Are you ready to roll up your sleeves and work hard? In past jobs have you been considered a role model for others in terms of your work ethic?
